1996
The Journey
We ventured out west, embarking on our first travels far into Queensland's opal-rich towns like Yowah, Opalton, Quilpie, and everywhere in between.
This was where our passion for opals began to take root. The more we explored and dug, the deeper our love for these precious gems grew.
Today, we still own and operate mines in Queensland, continuing the journey we started.
2009
Finding Home
Curiosity led us south to the famous town of Lightning Ridge, known as the "Home of the Black Opal."
This place captured our hearts, from its rich earth and endless mining possibilities to the beautiful friendships we now cherish as family.
Lightning Ridge has become our home, a place where our connection to the land and its treasures deepens every day.
2024
Opal Oasis was Born
Fast forward to 2024, and the dream of Opal Oasis became a reality.
We wanted to showcase our life's work on a larger scale, sharing our stunning collection of opals with the world.
Transitioning from our simple life out west to the vast world of the internet has been quite the adjustment, but we are excited to launch Opal Oasis in September 2024.
